This is a little bio for those of you who have not known us forever...

Bob was born in San Francisco (how cool is that?) and Kim in the East Bay Area. Bob was an Air Force brat and has lived in Sacramento CA, Summerville SC, and Pacifica CA before moving to Reno NV in 1980. Kim lived in Pleasanton and Sunol CA before moving to Truckee CA the summer before her freshman year in high school.

They both married others, had children, and divorced. They began dating in 1991 and were married on the beach in Jamaica in 1994.

Bob has two children, Mike and Summer and Kim has one son, Daniel.  Bob was the general manager of a machine shop and Kim, an estimator at a precision sheet metal shop. They spent most of their free time and vacations on their Harley-Davidson motorcycles touring the western states, their dog Willie on the back of Kim's bike.

Bob and Kim started their own business in 2003 after Bob left his long time job of 30 years.  Kim joined him a year or so later.  For the next five years they worked very hard building Sage Machine, Inc., a job shop which manufactures custom component parts for various industries. Then the recession hit.  Downsizing and the luck of the draw (or lack of capital), which had kept them from growing too quickly, kept them afloat. Three years later they sold the shop and started their Excellent Adventure!
